About Rock Foundation UK

The Rock Foundation UK Ltd is a front-line charitable organisation, which was founded in 2008 and is based in North East Lincolnshire. The Rock Foundation was created to provide new and unique provision for young people and adults with learning disabilities and those who are disadvantaged.

Through a wide variety of practical workshops and supported work placements, we aim to help our service users develop life and employment skills, to increase their self-esteem and independence, and ultimately improve their quality of life.

We seek to do this through our Grimsby day centre, our Caistor day service (including supported living service) and our Rock Foundation foodbanks. These services are complemented by social enterprise and retail sites which provide training and volunteering opportunities to our clients, as well as providing a means of revenue for our charitable work.

The Rock Foundation supports over 90 students through our day service provision, as well as providing supported living opportunities for up to 12 residents. Our foodbanks currently provide support to around 420 people every week, in some of the most deprived areas of our community.

Sites

We presently operate out of two sites, our MAIN SITE that is located at 39-41 Heneage Road, Grimsby, and our SUPPORTED LIVING SITE that’s beautifully located at the top of the hill in Caistor.

It takes a team

Our success and growth would not be possible without an amazing team of hard working and dedicated staff and volunteers.
