FULL TIME, PERMANENT – Tuesdays to Saturdays

We have a great opportunity for a full time kitchen / front-of-house team member to join our busy, friendly training tea room.

The successful candidate will be required to support and train our learning-disabled service users while carrying out daily duties within the tea-room’s kitchen, as well as in the front-of-house. A full DBS check will be required. 

Duties include: preparation and cooking of food; adhering to food safety & sanitation guidelines; serving customers. Carrying out all the usual tasks associated within a busy tea-room while upholding a professional and welcoming customer-service manner to all our valued customers and service-users.

Skills required: Food hygiene and allergen training; experience cooking to order independently in a busy kitchen environment; being able to work on their own initiative as well as a part of a small team; have excellent communication skills; be flexible and able to adapt to the demands and speeds of the business.
Knowledge of an EPOS till system, making barista style coffees and experience with working with learning-disabled adults would be advantageous, however support will be given to the right candidate.

 Hours required:  Tuesdays to Saturdays, 9am till 4pm (and 5pm during the summer months).

 Hourly Wage: Dependent on experience
